HOWDY!

Speaking of Texas, of course,Barbeque
Known as a city of music and food, Austin is home to a barbecue restaurant featuring Michelin, the world's leading food guide.
In the 2025 edition of the Michelin Guide, three barbecue restaurants in the city continued to hold the stars from the previous year. Two of them are near downtown.

1 LeRoy and Lewis Barbecue

A talented team that started with food trucks in 2017.
The store is located south of downtown, about 15 minutes by car.
Using beef from local Texas contract farms, it is popular in the local area in the style of "New School BBQ, Old School Service".
Traditional briskets (smoked shoulder balls), chicken fried steaks, burgers, tacos, and more.
Since reservations are not possible, we recommend visiting the store immediately after opening.

2 La Barbecue

Opened in 2012, this store is famous for its female-owned central Texas-style brisket. It is on the east side of downtown.
This signature menu is a briquette featuring baked skins with a blackish surface with pepper.
Fragrant aromas and juicy gravy fill your mouth, and this is Texas!
There are also sandwiches and a side menu with Sweet Pepper Cucumber Kimchi.
We also recommend Sloppy Ho, which is full of chopped briskets. Featuring Southern Sloppy Joe, this menu is full of gravy and can be enjoyed with your mouth and hands stirring.
This is also a popular store, so it is intended to be visited in the morning.

Located in the northwestern suburbs of Austin, this is an experimental store that adds a unique twist to traditional smoke techniques. Peach tea-glazed pork berries, rum, chimichurri-sourced beef short ribs, and more. There is always a long line in front of the store, so it is best to visit from mid-morning to mid-afternoon with plenty of time.
